I can't stand turtle necks, scarves or ties,
They make my blood pressure start to rise.
Constricting,confining I start to itch,
Corner of my eye is starting to twitch.

I know about ties, I had a collection,
At a time in life when I needed a selection.
A Burberry scarf I got as a present,
Only made me feel resentment.

T-shirts are my shirt of preference,
For anyones future gift reference.
I'm not so sure that last rhyme fits,
What the heck, this poem's the shits.

Ha! You wrote this! It made my day... and somebody is actually looking at my stuff. Oh God, that's probably not a good thing! More later...I have students coming in...
Thank you,
BD

Enjoy your writing and artwork... you must be busy. It's funny with this blog thing, it was your initial encouragement that kept me going, thanks. Watching Sweeney Todd for the second time gave me a greater appreciation for it (that's the long version of saying I liked it gooder). If you have a question for me about Moulin Rouge, I'd probably have to watch it again...I have a good memory, it's just really short.
Those dolls on your blog, do you make those yourself ? the reason I ask is that years ago I was wandering aimlessly around downtown Vancouver when I stumbled upon this shop that sold all kinds of interesting pieces by local (I think)artists . Under the glass were these small ugly heads with stiff little springs for hair that had been made into brooches. They made me laugh so I bought one for the girlfriend I had at the time and you would have sworn I bought her an engagement ring by her reaction....she loved it. I think she wore that thing daily until all the springs broke off and she needed to be retired to the shoebox. I paid around ten bucks for it at the time but the amount of pleasure we got from that silly little head was priceless. That relationship ended- maybe I should have opted for the engagement ring...

It's my first one... it was a little nerve racking at first. When I first got my computer last year I thought all these people on YouTube were rocket surgeons uploading these videos but it's pretty easy and a lot quicker than writing.
That was a Seinfeld episode... it can't be too high and it can't be too low. I'm not sure where to leave a reply so this seemed like as good a place as any... Cheersh.
